Good work slows down when the people making the decisions become separated from the people making the work. Context gets diluted, feedback becomes less useful and momentum disappears into layers.
Stay close enough to make the work better
Senior involvement should not mean controlling every detail. It means holding the commercial context, helping specialists make better choices and removing the uncertainty that creates unnecessary rounds.
The aim is not more oversight. It is better judgement at the moments that matter.
